Dayara Bugyal trek is one of the most beautiful, mesmerising, enjoyable, any season trek known as Himalayan Alpine Trek also. You trek across the finest, lush green meadows of Himalaya, and thick dense forests of maple and dark oak tees throughout the trek, culminating at Bakriya Top again with a lush green expanse of the meadow. Along the entire stretch of the trek, one can get a magnanimous and breathless panoramic view of gorgeous snow-capped peaks of Himalayan range of Gangotri, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, Srikanth Peak etc. Anyone with good physical fitness, without any established medical problems can join the trek. Kids above 10 years of age along with their parents can also join for these 7 days trek. This trek is also suitable for first timers as an ideal introduction to Himalayan adventures.
Quick Itinerary (Dehradun to Dehradun)
DAY 1: Drive from Dehradun to Uttarkashi (145km) Duration: 6 hrs
DAY 2: Drive from Uttarkashi to Barasu and trek to Barnala Lake (45km)
Drive Duration: 1.5-2 hrs, Trek 4 km: Duration 2-3 hrs.
DAY 3: Trek from Barnala Lake (8,500 ft.) to Chula Padav (10,040 ft.)
Trek Distance: 5 km | Trek Duration: 2-3 hrs
DAY 4: Trek from Chula Padav (10,040 ft) to Bakriya Top & Back (12,431 ft)
Trek Distance: 5 km | Trek Duration: 3 hrs
DAY 5: Trek from Chula Padav (10,040 ft.) to Gui (9,630 ft.)
Trek Distance: 4.5 km | Trek Duration: 2-3 hrs
DAY 6: Trek and Drive back to Uttarkashi

Cost incurred due to changes in itinerary due to personal need/health e.g., if you decide to return midway or stay at places other than the original itinerary, you will be required to pay additionally for stay, food, porter for yourself and for accompanying helper/guide.

Note:
Registration by payment of Rs.5000/. Once you register, you will be included in an exclusive WhatsApp group and you will receive regular fitness schedule, tips on yoga, pranayama, list of trekking gear etc. You also get peer support in your fitness journey.
The luggage, given to the porter/mules should be in a duffle bag or a rucksack. No suitcases or trolleys are allowed on mountains. Consider carrying 2 bags. One duffle bag to put extra luggage up to 10kg for porter/mules and a small backpack to be carried by yourself during trek.
Carry following documents for permits: a) 2 copies of Aadhaar Card/Voter's ID/Passport, b) 2Passport size Photos, c) 1copy of Covid vaccination certificate.
All travellers must be fully vaccinated while on trek. You need to produce your vaccination certificate when required.
Usual COVID protocols, SOPs, social distancing are to be followed. Carrying masks and sanitizers are a must.
Fitness Level

Participants should be healthy and fit to cover 3-5km in 30min and should have endurance to walk for 2 hrs continuously without strain.

Participants should not have any medical conditions that requires continuous or immediate medical intervention.

Participants having mild diabetes, BP, asthma which they can manage on their own should get their doctor’s certificate.

Children of 10 – 18 age group should be accompanied by their parents.
